Bluecoats suchen ein weiteres Baritone

Nicht nur Bluecoats suchen noch Member für die kommende Saison... Vor allem relativ junge Spieler, die gerne mal bei DCI laufen möchten, sollten sich folgende Zeilen mal durchlesen: Pioneer Drum and Bugle Corps and Color Guard from Milwaukee, Wisconsin is looking for brass players and (female) color guard members to fill out its ranks for the upcoming 2008 DCI World Class tour. The brass spots are still in all sections. (2 trumpets, 2 mellophones, 4 baritones.) As of now the tuba spots are full, but that doesnt mean that wont change, and applicants wont be considered. We will not make a decision on final numbers until sometime in April so there is still a chance to get in if you think you can fit in. We are hoping to write the visual program for 52-56 brass players. I am not sure about what is needed in the guard, but there spots available at present. Students will receive excellent instruction, travel opportunities and the chance to make friends for life. The tour fees are low in comparison to most DCI World Class corps, and include food, lodging and travel expenses. All interested applicants should either contact me through PM on DCP, or at donnymusic1@hotmail.com or contact the office for more information at 414 327 2847. The website has information on sponsorship opportunities for interested students, schedule information, and a forum to ask other students about their experience at Pioneer. the website is www.pioneer-corps.org. It even has a place for parents and teachers to ask questions of members and staff. The video on page tells the students side of things, and what Pioneer has meant to them in their experiences here. If you have been let go somewhere else for any reason, please consider Pioneer as another opportunity to fulfill your dreams of marching World Class DCI. If you have thought about marching somewhere else but didnt have the nerve to try out, it is not too late to still realize what this activity is all about. Pioneer is RICH in tradition, and is a great first time experience for those that have always wanted to be a DCI corps member. Pioneer has a very capable staff that cares about the students needs in every section. The administration takes pride in the fact that PIoneer is one DCI corps still active since before the inception of DCI and still travels on tour every year. The corps travels and eats well on tour. Consider Pioneer as a way to spend your summer, if you havent made a commitment to another corps as of yet. Directors and teachers, please consider Pioneer as a place that your students can be comfortable learning about the activity, and progress in music and marching techniques. They will be in good hands at Pioneer and learn a tremendous lesson about drum corps and life in general. |
